The Horus Heresy Book Nine – Crusade focuses on the war for the Eastern Fringe between the Dark Angels and the Night Lords. As well as detailed background on the Thramas campaign, the book includes in-depth lore about both of the Legions involved, new army lists, and a series of missions to let you recreate some of the most bitter battles of the civil war.

Within the leather-bound, 210-page book, you’ll find detailed background information on the Thramas Crusade, told across six chapters from The Edge of Ruin to The Heavy Toll of Victory, describing the vicious battles between the Dark Angels and the Night Lords in and around the Thramas system. These conflicts were some of the bloodiest seen in the entire heresy, with no quarter given on either side.

As well as detailed background of the fighting and the sides who took part, this book includes interlinked missions that let you replay the Thramas campaign. There is also a brand-new army list for the Dark Angels Legion and an updated one for the Night Lords Legion.

Full background for the forces involved is included: on the side of the Imperium you’ll find the Dark Angels Legion and the Legio Victorum. On the side of the Warmaster you'll find the Night Lords Legion.

The Horus Heresy Book Nine - Crusade is a complete expansion for the Warhammer 40,000 game – it requires the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, the Legiones Astartes Crusade Army List and the Mechanicum Taghmata Army List books to use all of its contents.
