Beschreibung
Minus vs Plus is an abstract strategy game for two players in which the objective is to score 24 or more points before the opponent in while executing addition and subtraction operations between integers ranging from -6 to -1, for one side, and from +1 to +6, for its opposite.
Each player starts the game with twelve dice-shaped pieces of six faces each. Each piece contains integers from -1 to -6 or from +1 to +6 drawn on their faces. The values are distributed among the pieces in such a way that there are only two pieces of each value on each side of the board at the beginning of the game. A player will have the positive pieces and his opponent the negative ones.
The players will take turns to move their pieces on the board and to perform addition or subtraction operations between the values of their respective pieces while scoring points with each subtraction and with each displacement that ends in the last row of the board. In this way, their respective strengths are wearing out and, at the end of the game, the player who has reached the score of 24 points first will be the winner.
It will also be possible, for each player, to regain strength in the game by capturing neutral pieces of zero value, which will appear when two pieces with the same absolute value are subtracted from each other. It will be important to make an appropriate assessment of the game in each situation and manage the resources well to win, because an initial disadvantage in the score can be traced if the resources have been wisely managed during the game.
