Beschreibung
Dino Dig Challenge from Uncle Milton is a Battleship style game.
From the blurb on the back of the box "You're on a dinosaur dig, and the stakes are high. If you find all your opponent's Velociraptor bones, you win the game. Easy? Think again! You'll need to avoid dangerous tar pits as you build your Velociraptor with the excavated bones! The first player to excavate and build a complete Velociraptor wins!"
Players take turns to try to discover dinosaur bones using the same A-J, 1-10 grid references as Battleship. Key differences are that the bones do not have target points which consist of a single straight line and that the bones have preset positions to fit onto four 5x5 terrain tiles. Don't be fooled though, this preset position rather than destroying the game, as I expected actually makes it far more of a logical deduction game than a guess fest.
BTW the blurb about dangerous tar pits is just blurb. The game rules do not mention any tar pit effect.
