Happy Planets is a space-themed 24 cards game where the planet's satisfaction will prove to be essential.
You are the new system manager of our company. It is time to prove yourself. Distribute your planets as best as you can in order to create a solid trade route among them, carrying out monthly objectives. The more needs are met, the happier they will be.
Remember: A planet that pays its toll is a happy planet!
You can play alone or with friends, all players work to (or help each other) build a new commercial empire from scratch. Using 24 cards, 1 core objective (Happiness) and a variable secondary objectives system (3 per game). Happy Planets changes every time you play it!
Each turn, players will take 1 card (when the game starts, they take 2) from the deck and play one of them in the galactic system. Every planet that is put on game increases the Happiness of the surrounding ones while increasing its own. This will depend on each planet's needs and production.
While in cooperative mode, players will have to communicate and plan without revealing their own cards in order to grow their planets' happiness in the most efficient way, but taking on account the secondary objectives. Planets with a happiness level below minimum will score negative points, so be careful.
In semi-cooperative mode, every player has their own personal objective, which everyone can see.
In competitive mode, secondary objectives are applied to all players, but every player has their own galactic system!
The game ends when all cards have been placed. Players will then see if they have reached the objective scores for the current game.
