Year 2100, world industry has focused on war machines called IRONS and countries compete to have the best Irons teams. Laboratories
look for the best weapons and clubs look for the best pilots.
Countries fight in the famous and hardest league in the world:IRON LEAGUE.
And there are hundreds of teams that fight in each country to compete in the Iron League.
You are an Iron team coach and you have been hired to take the team to victory and win the Iron League title.
Management and sponsors place their trust in you; we know you are the best and you will take the team to victory.
The decisions related to the selection of your team and of your cards, together with the luck of the dice and of the events cards
will be decisive to be able to win or lose. Score more times with the plasma ball than the opposing team;
you can also damage all the rival Irons or hit them with the plasma ball to win points.
The game contains: 3 boards, 6 complete Irons with 2 “silent” rotating machine-guns, 2 Zim guns, 2 shields, 2 beams and 2 light machine-guns (The arms, legs and weapons can be joined together by hand), 1 goal square, 62 cards (24 events cards and 38 action cards), 2 action dices, 1 plasma ball counter, 2 scoreboard counters, 8 damage counters, 6 Iron sheets, 1 summary sheet with scoreboard and 6 pilot identifiers.
Main features:
-Giant robots which measure more than 9 cm, with a lot of details and made of a very resistant ABS plastic.
-Interchangeable legs, arms and weapons. The robots get the weapons from the battle field.
-Random event cards. They can be good, bad or nothing may occur.
-Action cards, which help and provide you with improvements during the game.
-Only one goal place. You can quickly change from attack to defense, be careful!
-Players: 2-6
Action dice:
The action dice are used to carry out actions such as shooting,launching the plasma ball at a target, stealing the ball, etc…
2 action dice are always thrown. There are 5 icons on the dice:
2 pilots: When you throw a dice and you get this drawing, it means 2 points.
1 pilot: When you throw a dice and you get this drawing, it means 1 point.
1 pilot: When you throw a dice and you get this drawing, it means 1 point.
Faulty engine: When you throw a dice and you get this drawing, it means -1 point.
Example of throw: The result is: 2 pilots+1 pilot= +2 +1 =3 points.
Plasma ball: Only used to steal plasma ball.
You need 1 Iron sheet for each Iron of your team. The damagepoints of your Iron are indicated on it and it is associated with a pilot card.
All the weapons that come with the game must be placed on the main board.
Game sequence
1- Pick up 1 Events card
2- Pick up 1 Action card.
3- Movement phase, shoot and plasma ball.
4- Damage
5- Scoreboard.
During your turn each Iron robot has 2 actions.
You can choose these actions:
Move 1 or 2 squares= 1 action
Shoot one time= 1 action
Attack close up= 1 action (Attack with beam, charge/push or slap)
Get up=1 action
Push=1 action
Pass the ball=1 action
Receive the ball=1 action
Trying to hit an enemy with the plasma ball=1 action
Trying to steal the plasma ball=1 action
Examples:
Example 1: Move 1 or 2 squares and try to pass the ball to a companion.
You cannot throw the ball at the goal square. When an Iron robot from your team gets the plasma ball into the goal area, you get 8 points, when you destroy 1 enemy Iron robot, you get 1 point,when you hit it with the plasma ball, you get 2 points.
Use the counters with the “Iron League” logo and use them on the scoreboard to remember the points won.
The turn following a Goal begins with the team that has received the Goal starting the next phase, and the team that scored. All the Irons are automatically repaired and changed places.Each team at one end.
