A die decides which building the player can build. The following applies:
1 = residential building
2 = private home
3 = hotel or shop
4 = school or church
5 = town hall or train station
6 = factory or gasworks
Now the construction of the buildings is decided by rolling the dice. Each player always rolls two dice at least three times. He can only build if he rolls the components in order. He can only start if he rolls the number 1, then 2, 3, etc. The pips on each die count individually. If 1 and 2, 2 and 3 or similar are rolled in one roll, the player can build the components in question together. The player can roll the dice in succession as long as he keeps up with the last number, i.e. more than three times. For the large buildings: school, town hall, train station and factory, the player must roll each number twice.
Once a player has completed a building, he is rewarded with points and the opportunity to immediately roll a die to determine the next building and begin construction. If the building selected is already being worked on or completed by another player, he must take the next lowest building.
The game ends when all components are used up. The player with the most points wins the game.
