Beschreibung
This is a fleet combat game for 2 players from WWII. The goal is to defeat the enemy fleet and to take the enemy harbor.
Each kind of warship and the forts (pewter guns) have their own characteristics (damage/firing range/movement):
Battleship (4x): d=4, f=3, m=2 straight or 1 curved
Cruiser (2x): d=3, f=2, m=2
Torpedoboat (4x): d=2, f=1, m=3
Submarine (4x): d=1, f=1 emerged or 0 submerged, m=2 submerged or 1 emerged
Forts (4x): d=1, f=3, m= rotation only
Each rotation uses 1 movement point.
Alternately the players move one of their battle units. If an enemy unit is in firing range of 2 enemy units it loses 1 damage point, if it is in range of 3 enemy units it loses 2 damage points and so on. Taken damage is indicated by damage markers of the enemy color. If damage is reduced to 0, the battle unit is destroyed. The positions of submerged submarines are marked by damage markers of their own color.
Each harbor is protected by 6 forts on fixed positions and 15 mines inside the red marked area. Their positions are documented on small cards which the players are keeping secret from each other.
