In Desolation Dungeon you can play as either The Dungeon master or one of the heroes.

The Dungeon Master begins the game by laying out room cards with hidden traps and monsters and rooms in a way that will hinder the Hero’s on their journey to steal your loot!!! During the hero's turn, the players can choose up to 3 separate actions to search the dungeon, fight the monsters and escape with the loot.

Play continues until the Dungeon Masters has collected 10 hero souls or there is one hero left with 12 treasure points.

The game is for 2-5 players with multiple game scenarios and a solo variant for playing by yourself as the hero. Currently the stand alone version of the game is 165 cards with one expansion of 20 cards (10 for the hero, and 10 for the Dungeon master).
