Welcome to the Last Days of Haven, a "what-if" scenario in which we explore an alternative timeline of shorts, where the heroes of Ulfenkarn ultimately fail their task and Radukar‘s plans of the city come to fruition. In this, the heroes cannot cast Radukar down and find themselves with no escape from the city. Worse still, an angry vampire lord bears down on them, with all the wrath and fury of his dead legions. As a seemingly endless horde of monsters closes in on Haven, the heroes prepare to make their final stand.

In this article, we provide a set of rules for the final defence of Haven. heroes will start at level 1, with no equipment, and progress through 20 waves of enemies. If they somehow survive that, they will face a final fight with Radukar himself. Indeed, the last living beings in the ciry are the heroes, left for Radukar to personally finish him - though whether this is a grand gesture to a defeated foe, or a petty vengeance is yet to be determined and is of little consequence to his victims. Can you survive until the end, or will you fall by the hand of the Wolf King?
