Angriff auf die Schneefestung (2022)

"Angriff auf die Schneefestung" (German for "Assault on the Snow Fort") is an asymmetric microgame for 2 players in postcard format. The game is played on a grid of 5x5 spaces. Both players secretly choose their actions and then reveal and perform them simultaneously. One player attacks the snow fort and can only move forward, either straight or diagonally. They win the game by reaching the row right in front of the fort without being caught. The other player defends the fort and can only move left or right or stay in place. The defender always throws a snowball at the end of their turn. If the attacker is located in the same column as the defender, they get hit and have to retreat 2 spaces. The defender wins by pushing the attacker out of the grid or by ending their action on the same space as the attacker. -description from designer
