Glasgow (2016)

User summary Glasgow is an abstract game using glass tiles, for 3 players only. Some rules are adopted from Go, like placement restrictions and the Ko rule (hence the name Glass + Go = Glasgow). The designer feels the new rules make the game acceptable to advanced players. The glass tiles are placed on a 6 x 6 grid. All tiles should be adjacent to other tiles orthogonally. Up to 2 tiles of same color may be adjacent to each other; no blocks of 3 tiles may be made. Whenever a tile is surrounded, the owner of the most surrounding tiles captures it. This scores the player 3 points. At the end of the game, each tile left on the 6 x 6 outer rim counts as 1 negative point. The game ends when nobody can place any more tiles. Each player adds up their captured tiles, subtracts the tiles left on the outer rim, to get their final score. Most points wins. The graphic design for the game was done by Decoct Design. Publisher's summary Glasgow（グラスゴー）はガラスタイルを使った3人専用アブストラクトです。 囲碁のルールにある着手禁止点やコウなどのルールを採用しました。 そこにマジョリティとバーストを混ぜた玄人向けの作品になったと思います。 タイルは６×６のエリアに置きます。 必ず他のタイルに接するように置かなければなりません。 同じ色のタイルは最大で２個までしか隣り合うことができません。 タイルの周囲４マス（２個連続したものなら６マス）が埋まるとマジョリティトップが内側のタイルを獲得します。 これは１枚１点となります。 また６×６の外周のマスは最終的に１枚マイナス１点になります。 全てのプレイヤーがタイルを置けなくなったらゲーム終了です。 獲得タイルから外周に置いたタイルの枚数を引いたものが得点となります。
