Beschreibung
Blackbeard, the strategic trick-taking card game from Mindrax for 3-6 players.
Players are transported into the Golden Age of Piracy.
The colonial powers of England, Spain and France fight foor safe trade routes at sea. But beware: the colonial powers are threatened by pirates and there is a traitor in their midst...

THE GOAL
The goal of the game is to get as few tricks as possible with pirates and especially Blackbeard. Going around, every player. discards one card in the middle of the table - these cards are the trick. The tricks are repeated for so long until all cards have been put down. This marks the end of a round. After each round you receive 1 point for each Pirate card and 10 points for the received Blackbeard card. The player with the least points after 6 rounds wins the game.

THE CARDS
There are 4 nations in the game:
British (red) 1-15, including Blackbeard (13)
French (blue) 1-15, without 7
Spaniard (yellow) 1-15, without 7
Pirates (black) 1-15
There are also 2 Jokers.

THE RULES

If a player has the starting nation on his hand, it must be discarded.
If a player has no card of the starting nation in his hand, any card can be played - including a Pirate or Blackbeard. The player can no longer receive the trick. Example: The first player discards a French card, but all other players have no French cards left in their hand. The player with the Frenchman will get the trick and probably collect a lot of points.
Cannon Fire: If the first card of a trick is a Pirate, all players may discard any card of any nation. The trick is awarded to the player with the highest card, regardless of nation. If two players discard an equivalent card - e.g. British 9 and Spaniard 9 - the player who last discarded the highest card receives the trick.
Jokers can always be discarded and are used to bypass a trick. If the first card of a trick is a joker, the next card determines the nation.
Blackbeard is the special card of the game! He disguises himself as British and must therefore be discarded with the British cards. Whoever receives Blackbeard starts the next round by discarding the first card.

POINTS

If a player receives a trick, the cards are placed on a pile on the side of the game. If Pirates or Blackbeard are among the cards received, the player places them directly in front of himself. At the end of each round, the players add up their received cards. For each Pirate they get 1 point and 10 points for Blackbeard.
The captain records the points of all players after each round. The cards are then shuffled again and distributed to the players. From the 2nd round onwards, the player who previously received the Blackbeard card always begins to discard the first card. To relieve the captain, the cards can be shuffled and dealt clockwise.
