The game board represents a map of the USA; various states connected by interstates. Players start their journey from a designated starting point and navigate the vast network of interstates that crisscross the country. The objective of the game is to explore and collect the most memories along the way. Players advance their vehicles along the interstates by drawing destination & interstate cards, strategically planning their routes to maximize their memories.

Throughout the game, players must overcome obstacles such as traffic jams, detours, and conditions that will challenge them to rethink their strategies. Cleverly use interstate cards to gain advantages and outmaneuver their opponents.

As players traverse the interstates they will learn quirky facts about the destination states and interstates written on the cards. They have the opportunity to explore and make memories for each destination they visit. Additionally, they can interact with other travelers, forming alliances or competing for resources to enhance their journey.

The game concludes after a year or two year road trip. The player who has explored and strategically accumulated the most memories emerges as the winner, having had the most fulfilling and memorable road trip experience.
