I'm Going Down (IGD) is a print-and-play solitaire game about survival deep in enemy territory.
You play as a Pilot whose attack aircraft has been shot down during a routine mission. Now, you have to evade enemies and survive the elements long enough to scrounge together a search and rescue beacon to summon help. Your time on the ground will not be easy. The odds are against you.
You may also be able to turn your misadventure into heroism if you can capture enemy intelligence, destroy some of their installations, or maybe find other MIA allies and return to safety with them.
Or maybe you'll get eaten by a bear while trying to hide from a storm in a cave.
IGD is a solitaire game driven by tables and cards. Inspired by games like Ambush! and Ranger, you will see the narrative of your Pilot's exploits unfold in front of you through a combination of cards drawn and tables rolled on. Careful planning and choices will be pitted against the vagaries of fate, and the wide range of available Event cards mean games can feel drastically different from one another. One game will be a ruthless hunt as you flee from dogged pursuers, another may be a battle against rains, wildfires and errant bombing runs, and the next may see the tables turned as you attack enemy installations with captured weapons.
