Intrigue is a fascinating game involving foreign agents, secret information and "murder." The action takes place aboard an ocean liner tied up at an American seaport. A diplomat courier has been murdered, and his briefcase, containing secret papers, has been stolen and hidden in one of the staterooms.'

'The object of the game is to be the FIRST DETECTIVE to locate the stolen briefcase and take possession of it. Clues are obtained by searching the staterooms and meeting opponents in the passageways of the ship.'
