"Flames of War: Cassino is about the Italian front from Januari till May 1944. It contains armylists, painting guides and background information about the battles that took place. Armylists included in this book are: Germans: 1. Fallschirmjägerkompanie 44. 'Hoc und Deutschmeister' Infanteriedivision 90. 'Sardinien' Panzergrenadierdivision Allies: French Expeditionary Force (FEC) US 442nd Regimental Combat Team 'Nisei' US 41st Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron British 4th and 8th Indian Infantry Divisions British Ghurka assault troops British 4th New Zealand Armoured Brigade British 2nd New Zealand Infantry Division British 28th New Zealand 'Maori' Batallion In addition to the army lists included, there is also a new escalation campaign system called "Infantry Aces" in which players have infantry units that gain experience from campaign battle to campaign battle, and each battle is fought in succession.
