The Iron Cross Part I: Kharkov '42 covers the time between the start of the Soviet offensive and the beginning of the German Stalingrad campaign in 1942. In early May, several Soviet formations stand poised to take Kharkov and seize the Dnepr River crossings, destroying all the German armies in the south Ukraine. The Germans themselves are preparing themself their summer offensive. Victory hangs in the balance and the entire course of the summer’s campaign will depend upon who can strike first.
The game system is a very innovative impulse system. There are no ZOCs.
