Seaplanes have been used for impressive flights across the Oceans in early 20th Century. Savoia Marchetti S.55 has been one of the most famed machines, used by Italian and foreign pilots for their solitary and mass flights.
This game allows to challenge the huge expanses of Soputhern and Northern Atlantic, the weather, the mechanic failures to reach cheering crowds in far off-cities, on the path of Francesco De Pinedo, Italo Balbo, João Ribeiro de Barros and others.
Each of the 2 to 5 players must organize his own raid fighting time and perils; a solo variant is also included. Each turn, the player decides if to take off toward the next stopping place, to be chosen carefully since a linger stage means higher risks, or if to wait to prepare better. Game events are taken by historical pilots' diaries. Basic rules for a generic public are integrated by advanced ones considering plane enhancements, night flights, wind and other elements for a more realistic game.
