This BrainBox title has been developed to support very young children in early colour recognition. The front of the card features 3 images, each one in a different colour. Children must look at the images and try to remember all of the colours (the words are also shown), then they turn over the card and each image is shown as an outline only. The question asks "What colour?" and children have to say the colour of each of the objects they have just seen.
The object of the game is to study a card for 10 seconds and then answer a question based on the roll of a die. If the question is answered correctly, the card is kept and the person with the most number of cards after 5 or 10 minutes is the winner.
