Players are assigned secret Statuses at the beginning of the game, deeming them either an Employee or Influencer. Influencers can deflect Sabotages and add bonus points to Collaboration, but using either power exposes their Status and Status cards are shuffled and redealt.

To earn points, players complete their assigned Objective cards by gathering the necessary Work cards into their hand. Without the right cards, players can still try to earn points by either “Slacking” (bluffing about having the right cards), or by collaborating with other players to complete Objectives-- selecting a partner who claims to have the cards you need and pooling resources to fulfill your objective.

Watch out though-- collaborating with the wrong player might mean getting Sabotaged (when your partner gives you any card(s) other than what you need), but collaborating with the right player (specifically, an Influencer) leads to seven (7) additional bonus points for the completed objective.

Some Work cards are also Undercut cards-- attacks that players can use against their peers. Players can use up to two Undercuts on other players at the end of their turn.

Sabotaging an Influencer by accident results in losing points, so be careful who you target! Regular Employees can also block Undercuts if they have an elusive Water Cooler card in hand at the time of an attempted attack.
