Throughout your career as a detective, you’ve had a variety of odd things sent to you through the mail: ransom notes, encoded threats, kidnapping photos, etc. But, you’ve never had anyone send you a pawn ticket until today. Even stranger is the fact that all of the information on the pawn ticket- including name, address, and phone number-is yours. Curious as to who sent the ticket and why something was pawned in your name, you visit the pawn shop, trade in the pawn ticket, and wait anxiously while the clerk rummages around to find the item. Eventually, he returns with a puzzle box and tells you that the amount borrowed against the value of the box is a single dollar. You pay the dollar eagerly and begin trying to open the box to see what’s inside. As you quickly find out, there is more to this puzzle than meets the eye. A lot more. Can you solve a mystery within a mystery? Locate The Missing Piece and find out.
As with all Deadbolt Mystery Society games, you step into the role of the detective. Examining the evidence provided, visiting different locations and using the password protected QR mechanic to uncover the truth.
Players win once they catch the killer, find whats missing or whatever else is needed to solve the case at hand.
