Check 10 is a two-player, abstract strategy board game. You play with either the white or black pieces. Each player has 16 pieces, numbered 1-8. The aim is to score more points than your opponent. You can score points by capturing pieces of your opponent and by promoting your own pieces. You capture pieces if the combined value of your own pieces and your opponent's pieces is exactly 10 when making groups. A group consists of any pieces that are connected diagonally or orthogonally. You can promote pieces by reaching the opponent's end of the board. Then, your piece can no longer be removed and is worth points at the end of the game. Moreover, you can remove a piece of the same value from your opponent if it is available.
