This is a "simulation" of fan experiences at an average science fiction convention. The rules and event cards are full of "old school" fannish in-jokes. After registering at the hotel and convention, you wander through four boards with the various function rooms of a convention hotel. Players gather Pleasure, Glory, Survival, and Embarrassment points by landing on any of 10 event spaces. You draw and read an event card and add the listed points to your score card.
The game ends when a) everyone gets tired of playing any longer, b) a pre-set time limit is reached, c) the Dorsai (see above) arrive, or d) Global Thermonuclear War breaks out. Event, Glory and Survival points are added and Embarrassment points subtracted. High score wins.
The game comes with ten sheets of event cards, 4 map boards, one sheet of cut and fold figures, a sheet of "Personal Convention Program Card & Tally Sheets, a "Fan Guest of Honor" Button, an 8-sided die and a rules pamphlet. All components are hand drawn or written. and have to be cut out for use. Blank event cards are also provided so you can add your own stories.
