The game is played on a 3x4 grid with pieces in three colors (black, red, and gold, natch). Each player has 6 pieces in each color and places one per turn. The object is to create lines of 3 pieces in the title sequence (black-red-gold). The lines can be created orthogonally, diagonally, or vertically, since the pieces stack up to 3 high. Creating a line allows you to take a piece from your opponent, and whoever runs out of pieces first loses.
