Blood Rush (2014)

Blood Rush is a short and thematic card-based micro-game designed for solo play about a group of monsters raiding a small town. The goal of the player is to capture seven victims before the Inquisition arrives to the town. Each round, four Villager cards are set up face-down, guarding the four different Town Locations, and an Event die is rolled to determine how the round will play. Then, the player reveals the first Villager and assigns the Monster cards, either to the Town Locations or to the Lair, a Special location that allows the player to manipulate luck. The player must balance his or her forces in an effort to capture the required victims and avoid the nasty effects of the defending villagers. Positioning the Monsters and making clever use of their abilities will be essential for success!
