The Horrible Truth is a party game for 4-10 people where you test how well you know your friends while strategically revealing things about yourself.
Test your friendship knowledge through three card types: Question, Write It, and Draw It cards. Play a question card to ask the group a question about yourself, and the other players must try to guess the correct answer. Some questions are relatively benign, whereas others can get extremely awkward. It is called The Horrible Truth, after all.
If you play a Write It card, your friends must answer by writing a funny or factual phrase in response. If you play a Draw It, your friends must sketch whatever uncomfortable or absurd scenario the card describes. For both Write It and Draw It cards, you will choose your favorite response, so your friends must create something that stands out in order to win. There are also Challenge Cards, which you can use to try to force your friends to play the most horrible cards from your hand.
