Game simulates the historian routes of the salt transport around the year of 1500.
Object of the game is to collect the components for a historical "Säumer-Zug" (salt transporting caravan) with horses, riders, accompanying soldiers and/or mercenaries to encounter the dangers of the voyage.
In the meantime you have to mine salt and to acquire food for your caravan.
If you think the time is right you begin your dangerous way from the Bavarian Woods to the equally dark Bohemian Forests in order to reach the Czech capitol of Prag the first and to achieve the highest prices for your salt.
The game is of outstanding component quality.
A wooden box, where the lid acts as one of 6 wooden game boards, 3 different sorts of metal coins, real crystals, small salt cans and other heavy metal game pieces (horseshoes, pawns etc.)are a joy to behold.
The game is a project of the profession schools of the German and Czech border regions Waldkirchen and Susice.
It is manufactured by special order only, delivery time over 6 months, as nearly every game component is hand-made.
Educational aspect is served as a Czech-German dictionary comes with the game as well as a historical booklet describing salt-mining and transporting of the time being.
