Enter the mythic arena of VERSUS, where rival summoners clash in a sublime deathmatch.
You are one of them, leading 42 supreme beings into battle: The Archetypes.
Their prodigious powers are yours, if you can control them. Embrace the chaos, or let it consume you.
VERSUS 42 is a minimalist game of tactical brilliance, where the most creative player wins.
The setup is immediate, unpredictable, and fair with randomized board and decks.
The objective is clear: this is a deathmatch. All of your opponent's cards must be eliminated.
The gameplay is simple with only up to 4 actions per turn: summon, flip, move, and activate.
Cards are balanced, autonomous, and versatile. Their unique abilities can all combine, yet none rely on others.
Turns are fast-paced and dynamic: players draw midplay, each time one of their cards is destroyed.
Complexity can be customized with the initial hand size: casual players use 3, while competitors use 5 (or more).
Duration ranges from 5 to 35 minutes: this is based on your preference for the initial deck size.
The Team Mode allows you to play 2v2, or even 3v3.
The Online version is browser-based, featuring solo & multiplayer modes: play.versus42.com
