This game was inspired by various mini-games which used to be published now and again in White Dwarf Magazine. I have a fondness for the Orc and Goblin Army in Warhammer Fantasy Battle. One of the most powerful units was the Goblin Ball and Chain Fanatics which were available to Night Goblin troops. The inspiration and some of the base mechanics totally come from this game. It is random as hell but would make a great convention game.
Every now and again, in-between Waaaagh’s, the Gobbo’s get restless – what better way to kill time than by setting the Ball and Chain Loonie’s loose in a make-shift arena? Six goblin fanatics are placed into a small arena. Once the fanatics are let loose nobody has much control, but carnage shall happen, and if that fails then perhaps exhaustion at the very least.
Don't take things too seriously. Fanatics will die. Enjoy the ride.
