World of Snooker (2023)

World of Snooker allows you to stage matches between the sixteen All-Time-Greats or current players who are World-ranked using the provided Ranking to Ratings Chart. World of Snooker is an attempt to re-create the excitement of a world class snooker match. It is designed, in the usual replay game fashion, to be played solo but can equally well be played head-to-head. Whilst dice rolls clearly control the outcome there is room for some tactical play. The simulation uses just three basic Player Ratings, Potting, Cue Ball Control and Break Building. A frame is played out shot-by-shot but the result of that frame can then be used to determine the score in frames for any session (from 3 to 10 frames).
