Bionic: Nano Edition is a super compact paragraph driven adventure game. It is set in a dark cyber-punk future where corporations on the cutting edge of cybernetic augmentation technologies rule, and a grass roots movement driven by a desire to preserve some semblance of humanity resists from the shadows and gutters of society.
16 chits that indicate a range of numbers, icons and keywords, a character board, and a handful of wood cubes form the backbone of Bionic: Nano Edition. These are used to track your stats and resolve conflicts as you explore the Bionic Universe through one of the adventures designed for Nano Edition.
Each adventure provides a few cards for items, contacts and identities unique to that adventure as well as an adventure booklet. The adventure booklet (sometimes more than one) is the meat of your adventure - a paragraph driven micro-RPG. The goal of each adventure is different, but the fundamental game-play is the same: Make choices and flip chits to resolve conflicts.
