As Neil DeGrasse Tyson says, "We have a one-way ticket" to an expanding universe, and so it is with EONS: Cosmic Expansions, a set of three expansions for EONS that adds three distinct expansion decks that can be used together or individually, in conjunction with the base game.
Cosmic Bodies, expansion 1, expands the EONS universe to include Orange Dwarves, Asteroid Fields which the players can "throw" at other players to destroy planets, and Binary Star Systems. Cosmic Technology, the second expansion, grants civilizations the ability to colonize other planets with fewer resources or become space-faring and no longer vulnerable to player action. Finally, Cosmic Destruction adds a Rogue Black hole that is high victory points, but has to be fed element cubes or the player loses their victory points. It also adds a Red Supergiant, which becomes a black hole when destroyed and the brown dwarf, which try as it might, will never make star status and will die after a set number of rounds.
Together, these expansions give EONS more options in both competitive and cooperative play and has shown to decrease both the PvP and play time of the game, due to players making more strategic decisions that affect themselves instead of others, in an effort to use the new cards that are very valuable to build towards.
EONS: Cosmic Expansions also includes more cooperative scenarios and adds printed secret agendas to the game, so it is almost five expansions in one small box.
