Grapple and board to capture them!
Clash of Galleys is a set of miniature naval rules for the era of oared warships, covering roughly 500 BC to 400 AD.
The rules are written to be played with 1:1200 scale miniatures on a one and one half inch hex grid. (But components that allow Clash of Galleys to be played as a board game are provided in an Appendix.)
The rules are intended for large battles of up to 50 or more ships on a side.
Ships are organized into squadrons of 5 - 8 ships each.
Each player normally plays one or two squadrons although experienced players could play more squadrons.
Several scenarios are included with the rules.
